What I LOVE About Halloween

What's not to love about this Holiday full of ghouls, spookiness, gore and more?

Here's a list of what I love about Halloween:

1. Trick or Treat! I haven't been trick or treating in a very long time, but I used to LOVE coming home after knocking on far too many houses and eating sweets, chocolate etc. until I felt sick, and then waking up the next morning only wanting more. Now I guess I just buy a ton of candy to make up for it! Come on, who doesn't? Also, who doesn't enjoy playing a trick or two now and again? I usually come up with pretty great tricks and of course I have one planned this year.

2. Costumes! We can be ANYTHING we want for a day/night, which I think is so cool. My personal favourite is Alice in Zombieland, because, you know... Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite movies and in case you didn't know, I have this weird obsession with anything to do with zombies... Next.

3. It is the BEST time to watch all those Halloween, Zombie and Horror movies! Gather some people, whether it's family, or friends, and have a scary movie marathon while digging in to some treats. There a SO MANY movies to watch, here is a list of some of my favourites.

4. Pumpkins! Who doesn't love pumpkin carving? And while we are on the topic of Pumpkins... I guess Pumpkin spice lattes and cupcakes are pretty good.

5. Haunted Houses. Honestly, I haven't ever been to a Haunted House on Halloween, but I definitely would love to, they seem like a lot of fun.

6. No age restrictions. I really do love how pretty much everyone gets involved and celebrates, whether they are kids, teenagers or adults. Sure, you can't trick or treat after the age of 12/13 (Although, debtable for sure) but there is a way to celebrate for everyone. Everyone's a kid at heart, right?

7. DECORATIONS.

9. A great time to dress your cat or dog up. I used to make my dad bring my dog trick or treating with us when I was younger and everyone we passed absolutely loved him!

10. The spooky, haunting and frightening atmosphere.
